WAITING….

Why do we wait?

Is it because what God has is store for us is so much greater?

Or are we just so selfish that we want everything to happen on our own timing?

I am waiting now…

God is faithful, for I know this, yet…

I do not understand why it hurt so much when I am searching for that place of contentment?

God is captivating my heart, but at the same time I becoming completely vulnerable because truth is being poured into my life.

Life is tough and right now is a waiting period of the amazing things God has in story for me, though I only wish I could receive a glimpse of those amazing things he has in store. Don’t we all?

Graham Cook says, “The reason we go through the desert is for discovering that we are perfect.”

God is perfect and because he made us in his image we are perfect.

That is what I hold onto everyday :)

NEW BEGINNIGS!!

moved into my new apartment

love my new roommates

tommorrow starts a new semester of classes

new decorations need to be hung on the wall

new room to be creative with :)

new friends to get to know

AMAZING new adventures God has in store for me

Cannot wait to see the new things God is going to do in my life

HOME from an amazing summer!!

God is good and with Him i finished the summer out strong

packing for a new school year

going through boxes and boxes and more boxes of junk i have accumulated over the years

miss friends and cannot wait to catch up with them

SUMMER!!

leaving for florida in two days :)

packing, packing, and more packing

home has been restful and peaceful

NEW LIFE RANCH in 12 days!!!!

stressed about the many complications that go along with being a girl lol

still looking for a roommate and praying that i will have a place to live for next school year

BEAUTY.....

Am i beautiful? A question i am sure every person has asked themselves once in their life. I do not know why i post this question, but lately it has been on my mind. Do i truly know the answer? YES! of course i do, but why is it soo hard for me to grasp

The knowledge is in my mind and i can read it right in front of me, from His word, but yet getting it into my heart is another story. I look at pictures and compare myself to those around me then the thoughts begin to take over.

Lord i pray that you will be my focus and not the way i look. To every girl that reads this you are a PRECIOUS jewel, created in the image of the amazing GOD we serve. Remember those around you love you for who you are not the person we try to be. One of my favorite verses goes..."How beautiful you are my darling there is no flaw in you."...Songs of Solomon 4:7

Remind me daily of that verse, Lord, for being a girl in this world is a daily battle when beauty comes into the picture. Thank you for creating me in your image. Have a great day!!

DATE... :)

Ok...so word on the street was that i an AMAZING date tonight and know one knew who it really was. Well...I am about to tell you, so drum roll please....his name is Chris Prock!! Can i just say WOW and OMG!! for all those who know me, that is A+ in my book lol.

Our first date was tonight and we painted the town red, Bricktown that is. Everything from seeing a movie, eating at one of my favorite places SONIC :), and walking along the river made the night wonderful. The Lord blessed us with great weather and i thank him for the fabulous company.

As of right now i am not sure on what will come of this, but what i do know is that i am enjoying the "getting to know each other" part of our relationship. The Lord's timing is always the best and that is something i am learning in my walk with Him. As i pray will you pray with me that i see the Lord's will for this exciting event in my life. I am truly blessed in meeting a guy like Chris and only pray things work out for the glory of God's kingdom.

Want to know more give me a call and i would love to share with you about the truly amazing God i serve and how He has blessed my life with a man that spoils me, treats me as a princess, and is very cute. :) I hope your night was as spectacular as mine and your day tomorrow will be even better than the day before. HOME!!!

I am in Tulsa this weekend and how i have missed it soo much :) It has been good seeing my family, being apart of my brothers lives (aka going to a bizillion basketball games lol), and just relaxing. Good'ol T-Town never lets me down :)

Ok, so i get this phone call from my mom the other day and she is describing to me about this interest in picking up scrapbooking again (just for he record my mom was the queen of scrapbooking!). She wants to create a scrapbook of the past 20 years of my life. Starting with college and working down, wonderful right? No, there is a problem, a big problem. She needs pictures!! lol my mom she makes me laugh. If you saw my room right now you would be in shock for it is covered in head to toe with pictures of anything and everything. Some i have never seen before, crazy :) I come home and my room is a scrapbooking extravaganza. I am excited she is doing this and how it will turn out, but i declared that it is official. I no longer live at home, my room has been taken over by pictures lol

My friends went swing dancing tonight without me, sad :( I wish i could have gone, but home was calling my name. Another friend of mine died his hair black and i am not so sure i can handle that. I liked his hair blond, but hey if he enjoys it then i will support him 100% Still, though i am sad for the change.

I want everyone to know that there is this girl i am OBSESSED with. :) Her beautiful name is Brittany Carver and she is the love of my life. We just met and became instant friends. I cherish her soo much and definitely would have to say she is my other half. I love her!!! Just thought i would let you know :)

That about raps up my past few days. Been crazy as ever and studying for tests. Yuk, on tests! You know what i have come to realize, that I love the college life, but hate classes. Yeah pretty much if i could live in Norman with no classes, maybe a job, but just hanging out with the friends i love then yeah that would be an A-MAZ-ING life!!
