WAITING….

Why do we wait?

Is it because what God has is store for us is so much greater?

Or are we just so selfish that we want everything to happen on our own timing?

I am waiting now…

God is faithful, for I know this, yet…

I do not understand why it hurt so much when I am searching for that place of contentment?

God is captivating my heart, but at the same time I becoming completely vulnerable because truth is being poured into my life.

Life is tough and right now is a waiting period of the amazing things God has in story for me, though I only wish I could receive a glimpse of those amazing things he has in store. Don’t we all?

Graham Cook says, “The reason we go through the desert is for discovering that we are perfect.”

God is perfect and because he made us in his image we are perfect.

That is what I hold onto everyday :)

Court- it has been too long since i've talked to you. WhenI was reading your post, this passage I just read jumped to my mind. "Remember how the Lord your God has led you in the desert for these forty years, taking away your pride and testing you, because he wanted to know what was in your heart. He wanted to  know if you would obey his commands." then it continues... "Obey the commands of the Lord your God, living as he has commanded you and respecting Him. The Lord your God IS bringing you into a good land." deut. 8. The Lord has taught me alot from this chapter, i.e., my injuries and all. (it must be a God thing b/c who reads deuteronomy that often ; ). I know he's telling you the same thing. Hold on court, cuz the light in the dark tunnel is coming. Don't give-up. here's an interesting quote from the margin of my favorite new century bible. " You were intended to live in your Father's house. any place less than his is insufficient. any place far from his is dangerous. Only the home built for your heart can protect your heart. and your Father wants you to dwell in Him." -max lucado. love ya
